Wrong Turn or was it…

   We took a wrong turn in Providence Rhode Island missed our exit, or ended up on an exit we didn’t intend. As we were driving we saw a sign from the highway that said TATTOO. Well I cant resist a signal from the spirit of tattoo, this could only mean we were supposed to go check it out.  We pulled around the front on Warren ave and found the studio at the corner of Warren and Broadway, appropriately named Warren Ave Tattoo. They must have noticed us staring from inside because an adorable little kid came running out waving his arms. I later learned his name is Chen and they have coined him their mascot. The shop is set up classically, lovely sign work and very tidy. The staff as we walked in were all very friendly and knowledgeable. One of the artists was painting custom flash while the other was working on a pencil sketch, I think it is very important that anyone in tattoo always be honing their art skills and these guys were doing just that.
