Sailor Jerry

We went to New Glasgow Nova Scotia, just as a stopover after the ferry from PEI. I saw the front of a tattoo studio it said Canada’s oldest tattoo studio; I had to go in. When I went in it had a bunch of Sailor Jerry memorabilia, I thought well not Sailor Jerry rum/converse shoes guy he was from San Francisco and passed away in the 70’s and not Sailor Jerry Swallow He was in BC last I heard and having health issues, in fact we had just missed working at the same studio on Granville st…..Sure enough it was Jerry Swallows and we got to hang out for a bit. He looked as though, and said he is doing well. I only wished I had had some cash to get tattooed by him, perhaps I still will!. Small world!
